Customink.com is a respected competitor of ours on the embroidery side and they launched a ticker type application to show customer reviews. they are apparently uncensored (i'm guessing the review itself...not all reviews;)

Anyway, they do so such a great job that they get dozens of great reviews a day.

VistaPrint, a former partner and now a 'direct printer' competitor, now has the opposite ticker on their reputation: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/vistaprint.html

My father regularly said, "don't make grand statements"....the reason is you will most likely regret it. (not ALWAYS...because that would be a grand statement!)

So, this headline caught my eye......

CEO Schmidt: Google Recession-Proof

.....hopefully Schmidt doesn't know anyone at Bear Stearns

Tim armstrong is an old friend from the 90's.  He started a magazine with an old roommate of mine from college back in '94.

Not a shock that we don't hear much from him anymore (he is the advertising head of google!) but i just noticed this post on Valleywag vilifying him for no reason.  Valleywag claims google (and tim Armstrong) are trying to kill Madison avenue ad agencies……when the underlying post simply states google is trying to come out with a dashboard for advertising professionals (and maybe eliminating a media buyer position, but that’s it).

I don’t know of any ‘dashboards’ that have worked in the past…so good luck tim…..but valleywag has spun this story a little far

WOW, the industry really is changing.....

Its a little premature (products should be up in the next couple weeks) but Corporate Casuals is thrilled to offer Wearguard brand apparel to our customers!  Wearguard is THE top name in workwear for small trade businesses and they have always been one of the best direct marketers in any industry.  Funny coincidence: my direct marketing professor at Babson, Sandra King was the former director of marketing for Wearguard!  small world.

WearGuard (the company) is now owned by Aramark uniform and they have a huge presence around the country. I hope to include different posts with the different styles later this week.
