Chronicle is a local news show in boston and they did a story on a kid that opened a t-shirt shop on Newbury street (for those who don't know....newbury street is the 5th ave/rodeo drive, albeit much smaller, of boston).   i have no idea the rent per square foot but its super high.  anyway, I was reading Spreadshirt's blog this morning and saw their link to Johnny Cupcakes story which everyone should read at least once.  its hilarious and implausible (is that a real word?).  this kid designed some t-shirts and opened a store that looks AND acts like a bakery.  the whole deal: the t-shirts are in deli-style cases, they have bakers racks hanging around (they do give away cupcakes) and most are dressed in bakers type clothing.....YET they are selling t-shirts.  I can't understand it yet I thinks its the coolest idea.  i guess that's what they call art/poetic license
